Do you have trouble getting out of work in the middle of day to attend one of the Chamber’s Luncheons? When 5:00pm comes around are just ready to go home, and not come to an After-Hours? Well then you no longer have an excuse not to be involved. There now is a specially designed event for you.
The Westland Chamber will be hosting its Monthly Chamber Coffee Connection on Wednesday, May 30th . A Coffee Connection is an informal gathering of Chamber Members over coffee. No need to RSVP, no need to sign in when you get there. Just bring plenty of business cards and a couple of bucks for breakfast. This month’s Coffee Connection will be held at Biggby Coffee (37644 Ford Rd.) from 8:00am – 9:00am. Just get there when you can make a few connections and head on to work. It’s a great way to meet other busy business owners and still get some work done. Hope to see you there!

Don’t miss out one of the Chamber Signature Events. This year we will be joining forces with the Westland Community Foundation to bring you a great golf outing. This year we will be teeing up on June 12th at Cattails Golf Club in South Lyon. This year is already off to a good start with several returning sponsors. Garden City Hospital is the Co-Sponsor again this year. With Michigan Chiropractic Specialists, Co-op Services Credit Union, and TDS Metrocom already on board as sponsors also. On Thursday, Jun 14, 2012, the Westland Chamber will be joining forces with the Livonia Chamber again to bring you Detroit’s own Mayor Dave Bing. We will meet at Burton Manor (27777 Schoolcraft Rd., Livonia, MI) from 11:30-1:30pm. Tickets will be $30 per member and $40 for non-members. Please CLICK HERE for more information.

Westland Chamber Tiger Outing!
It’s Baseball season!! Grab the family, a few friends, or your employees and join us at the Tiger Game! What can be better than a good game, hotdogs, and great fans? The Chamber will be blocking off a set of tickets in section 331 for Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Game time is 7:05pm vs. the Los Angeles Angles. Ticket will be $25 each.
